Synopsis
A poetic portrait of Odesa in wartime, following locals whose everyday lives, memories and dreams persist amid loss and uncertainty.
Neymann interweaves observational scenes and intimate interviews with Odesa’s residents — from a widow caring for stray cats to a sea-loving boy and a Holocaust survivor — revealing resilience and longing as air-raid alarms punctuate daily life. Shot in 2023–2024, the film world-premiered in the Berlinale Forum.
