Synopsis
Despite a war close by, mud treatments and electro-therapies continue at Kuyalnik Sanatorium near Odesa in southern Ukraine, where a small group searches for love, healing & happiness.
In Sanatorium, Gar O'Rourke explores the fragile line between reality and delusion within a mysterious institution. Set within the confines of a mysterious institution, the film follows its inhabitants’ personal histories. Through those, O'Rourke invites the audience to question the nature of healing.
