Synopsis
Militantropos (Lat. “milit” – warrior, Gr. “antropos” – human) describes the state of a person in war. This experience demands constant individual and collective transformation, where war becomes the condition for survival.
Militantropos is a collective documentary experiment by three of Ukraine’s most distinctive filmmakers. The film explores how war infiltrates everyday life and transforms both private and public spaces. Combining observational fragments, poetic imagery, and philosophical reflection, it creates a mosaic of voices and perspectives rather than a single narrative.
